Healing circles are provided to small groups that support who individuals who are dealing with issues such as addictions, violence, grief, trauma, and many other issues. Healing Circles are typically held for an hour per session. Healing circles are important because they provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to connect and share their stories. In this type of space, participants learn from one another's experiences and gain insight into their own. Through healing circles, individuals can normalize their experiences, build empathy, and validate one another’s stories. It is an important part of many cultures, as it is a form of self-care that encourages both emotional and physical healing.

Steps that we take in order to make healing circles a safe space:

Treat each other with kindness and respect.
Listen with compassion and curiosity.
Honor each other's unique ways to healing and don't presume to advise or fix or try to save each other.
Hold all stories shared in the circle in confidence.
